The Wellness Task Force is pleased to announce the Cornerstone Research Spring into Summer Fitness Competition from April 22 (Earth Day) through June 21 (first day of summer). This is a fun, healthy competition geared towards all fitness levels—whether you are just starting or running an Iron Man. To participate, just log the number of minutes that you exercise throughout the competition.
We ask that you log only periods of intentional exercise. Exercise includes activities such as walking, running, hiking, cycling, swimming, playing sports, yoga, Pilates, lifting weights, rock climbing, martial arts, etc. Intentional means that you do it intentionally for exercise or fitness. So, if walking or biking to work is part of your exercise routine, that qualifies. Walking to the copier or donut shop does not. We also ask that you log only time that you are actually exercising. For example, a 4-hour hike with a 1-hour lunch break equals 3 hours towards the competition.
