Step Up to the Plate!
The Fruit & Vegetable Challenge
Overview: Step up to the plate and include at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Putting produce first can reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease, some cancers, diabetes, and hypertension... while increasing energy. Fill half of your plate with a rainbow of colors from red, orange, yellow/white, green, and blue/violet to gather up a wide range of nutrients. The fruit and vegetable challenge will help you to score big by picking up the pace to positive health. Each week, members that accumulate the designated number of servings will be eligible for a raffle.
When is the challenge? The 4-week challenge will be held form September 26 – October 21, 2016. Registration will be open from September 19 – September 23.
How do I enroll in the challenge? Simply go to "http://www.ebms.com" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" >www.ebms.com and enter your personal username and password (Use Google Chrome as web browser). After logging in to the site, simply click on 'miHealth Manager' and then on the ‘My Challenges’ tab at the top of the page. Once you land on the Challenges page, you are now enrolled in the challenge! NOTE: Paper-based tracking sheets are avalible upon request, please contact email@example.com
How do I log my activity? You will simply track the number of servings of fruits and veggies each day and log the results on "http://www.wgu.mywellportal.com" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" >www.ebms.com by clicking on 'miHealth Manager' and then on ‘My Challenges’. Select the date you wish to log and enter the number of servings of fruits and veggies for that day.
How am I eligible for the raffle? The goal is to eat and log at least two servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables a day, four days a week, for four weeks. That’s five servings a day for 16 days. Your name will be entered into the raffle for each week you achieve the goal. If you miss your goal one week, do not worry, you will still be eligible to earn the incentive the following week by meeting the goal for that week.
